Ingredient Search

The search for the elusive Creme de Menthe has been called off. Said ingredient has been found.
If you live in the area go to the kitchen supply store.
It cost $1.45.
It is really little but it has a high concentration.
If the recipe calls for 1 tsp., you only use 1/4 tsp.
See it there on the shelf, being all shy?

My next quest is to find white creme de cacao.
The lady at the kitchen store said.....swallow I would find it at the liquor store. It isn't a liquor she said. It is just a flavoring they use in mixed drinks, etc.
So....onward I go with HUSBAND in hand. lol
( this pie better be good).
