Socks Again

My socks are coming along swimmingly. This is where I started.

They look a tad skinny, but they actually hug my feet quite nicely.

  2. Oh and now I notice you are doing the magic loop way (is that what they call it?) I have never tried it this way, but watched a little video on how to on Youtube.

    I have only done socks twice. Once as a tube sock on straight needles (they were so bulky I could only use them as slipper socks) and once on straight needles...but actually they aren't finished, one toe needs to be finished, but my pattern got stolen out of my car. (yeah they stole my purse, our g.p.s. and my knitting bag with the instructions- the socks were left at home, so the bad guys didn't get them. ;-)

    nice to meet you...I popped over from Rob's blog.

  3. Lou,
    Thank you for stopping by my blog the other day and leaving a comment---I didn't even realize it until now. I guess I didn't have the settings fixed so that it would notify me when a comment was left. :-{
    I like the new socks colors. I did find a video online and have attempted a bit of knitting but find that I have a hard time with keeping the yarn from slipping off while trying to knit a stitch. I've got both plastic and metal needles and have tried both--the metal were definitely better than the plastic, but I still find crocheting a whole lot easier.
    I plan to keep trying though--I think that knitting is more versatile, but I do plan to find someone locally that I can have help me with getting started. I decided that I may just not be getting the tension right and causing my own troubles. ;-)
    I do hope you get to take your birthday trip soon.
