On our way to church, my daughter and I hit a spot of ice in the road....it was on a little hill.....and as we came down it...our little Jeep, Trigger, just came sliding down sideways. When you are on ice....not much you can do.
Trigger turned almost all the way around and hit a tree on the East side of the road....we were traveling South.

Margaret took the brunt of the hit because her little nine year old self was sitting in the front passenger seat. We were very fortunate that we were not hurt.
My husband, who was at church already, came and got us. They towed Trigger to the Ford store. The insurance totaled it. I was sad to see him go. He was a good Jeep. Margaret and I drove him out West for a 10-day vacation earlier in the year.

Moral of the story. Respect the ICE.
Give me a foot of snow any day....

  1. Wow, glad no-one was hurt. Isn't it sad when you have to get rid of a car you loved? I get very attached to my cars. Although not as attached as to the people inside them ;) Glad that Trigger kept you all safe :)
