On Tuesday we traveled to see the newest member of the family. His name is Ben and he is so cute and cuddly.
This is on 465 going around Indianapolis....I totally have to knit on this road..too scary otherwise.

Actually I knit almost the whole way, adding 2 1/4 inches to Margaret's orange socks. I did stop to snap a couple pictures.
The sky was stunning.
Haha, I like to knit while I'm traveling too! It's redeeming the time, no? Not that traveling is a waste, but it one can multitask, why not? ;)
ReplyDeleteI knit, tat, embroider, and do all kinds of needlework while traveling. I agree that it's good to be able to use that travel time! In fact, that what's I look forward to when traveling--uninterrupted needlework time. Beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed with people who knit on the road. I do sometimes, but more often I don't have yarn ready and/or the right pattern and needles ready to go. I'm a disorganized knitter who needs my stash right with me. And sometimes knitting on the road makes me a bit queasy.

The sky is beautiful! Great idea about knitting on the road! I need to find a hobby I can do while taking trips. That would thrill my husband, since I'm always "helping" him drive! hahaha
ReplyDeleteYes, it is best if I knit while my husband or anyone else drives. Put me BEHIND the wheel and I am FEARLESS....but not so brave when I ride. :)
