National Pie Day has finally arrived.
I made a Snow Pie for my husband and church. It has coconut in it and all of the ingredients are white, except the vanilla.

For my daughter and for home, I made a French Apple Pie. It isn't lovely looking, but it usually tastes great.
I invited my blogging friends to make pies too, and
Debbie has made a delicious looking pie. Go here.

Ooh, that French Apple Pie looks awfully good!
ReplyDeleteDid you finish your socks? What is your favorite type of item to knit? I like just about all of them, I think. :) I just started knitting a pair of socks, and I'm really excited about them! I'll have to put them on hold for a bit, as I am going to be working on some designs for my Etsy shop.
Thanks for the comment!
So sad I didn't get to make my Pumpkin Pie, we've had builders in and the kitchen was just a bombsite! Your pies look fabulous! I must try a snow pie. Mmm.
ReplyDeleteOh YUM!!!! Please tell me that you will share your recipes?? Or are they some family secret? They look SOOO good!!

Good looking pies. I never did mine yet. I've been busy tatting, knitting, painting. I also have been doing a lot of writing suddenly. I get inspired now and then and must take advantage of it. Good thing my daughter likes to cook--that means we can still eat when I'm busy with these artistic pursuits! Happy baking!
